Shotgun Range Activities

 

You are invited to shoot on our well-groomed shotgun range.  All shotgun sports are open to the public for practice shooting during normal club hours.  We feature:

  • Skeet - 2 lighted fields - 1 field with LaPorte Machines
  • Trap - 6 lighted fields
  • Sporting Clays - 2 nine-station 50 clay courses
  • 5-stand - 1 field with 8 computer-operated automatic traps

We accept and    Pre-paid cards are available - Please see the cashiers for information!

Clubhouse

The air-conditioned and heated Clubhouse at the Forest Lake Sportsmen’s Club features concessions of soda, candy and chips, and clean rest facilities.  We also offer 12 and 20 gauge shotgun shells for purchase.

League Information

Spring Trap League

The Spring Trap League starts March 30 and runs for 20 weeks. There are three featured venues:

  •  16 Yard Trap League

  •  Handicap Trap League

  • 10 week Doubles League, starts week 11 of the regular trap season

Spring Combo League

The Spring Combo League starts March 30 and runs for 18 weeks.  The teams compete in the following venues: 

  • 16 Yard Trap – 6 weeks

  • Skeet – 6 Weeks

  • 5-Stand Sporting Clays – 6 weeks.

Spring Skeet League

Spring Skeet starts March 30 and runs for 20 weeks.

 

Spring Sporting Clays

The spring Sporting Clays League starts March 30 and runs for 10 weeks. 

 

Spring 5-Stand League

Spring 5-Stand starts March 30 and runs for 20 weeks.

 

Summer Youth Trap League

The Summer youth League starts June 8, and continues each Wednesday night for 8 weeks.  This program is fully supervised with seasoned shooters for safety and instruction.  There are two categories:

  • Sub-Juniors - Ages 11 through 13

  • Juniors - Ages 14 through 18
